Just don’t play the instant loss goalieThey can pull to within 4 of Boston, they need to win tomorrow

McDavid should have been a Leaf. hopefully that mistake gets corrected one day.

Eat crowHe's still been awful beating ONE good team doesn't change that, beat a couple more good teams then we will talk
Eat crow
I don't think so, not yet he's got to beat 2 more good teams. I put ZERO stock into his wins against Detroit and NJ because it's Detroit and NJ and he needed OT to beat the Devils

I wouldn't even say the Isles are a good offensive team either, so really, he has had several soft starts.
Do you expect the back up to start against the Washingtons of the league? Soft starts are all we need him to handle.

Leafs are pretty fast. Why are a few here claiming how fast this game will be?
McDavid is fast, light speed fast. The rest of the Oilers are a bunch of slugs.
How thick do you have to be to expect the backup to start this game?
Andersen starts 1000%
No one expected Hutch to start last game...what if Andersen pulled something before the Isles game and Hutch gets the nod again. How thick do you have to be to expect the backup to start this game?

Keefe's explanation of why made plenty of sense. No back to backs until February, they just got back from a 2 game Minnesota-Manitoba road swing, and if Andersen played he would have a short turnaround to today and would be playing 3 games in 5 nights, or 4 in 7 assuming he starts the Jets game on Wednesday. With Hutch having two recent wins and Keefe trying to lessen Andersen's workload it actually made a lot of sense to start Hutch. No one expected Hutch to start last game...what if Andersen pulled something before the Isles game and Hutch gets the nod again.
McDavid needs to shave, thats a terrible look for someone who's on tv.
