It would likely depend on a certain player being on the board at 8, who isn't expected to be there still at 12.Why would the wild do tbat? Not a lot of difference between 8 and 12

Try and get Drouin and #15 for #8. Not sure if MTL is ready to do that, though.
How does Bjugstad+Pitt 1st for 8th sound?
We got bounced early in round 1 so it’s probably between 16-20.
Side note, is it the first team out that gets the 16th draft spot or how do they determine those spots?
Keep their pick and draft a much needed DEFENSEMAN.Oilers should keep their pick and draft a much needed Winger.

Fixed it for you
Yeah, one who most likely be an impact NHL player in 3-4 years at best. Another 3-4 years of McDavid's and Leon's prime years gone.Oilers should keep their pick and draft a much needed Winger.
I'm sure you would, as that would be an exceptional deal for Edmonton.8th for 12th and Zucker is a deal that has been talked before and one that I would do.

Draft is loaded with Forwards. Oilers need a RHD and Soderstrom is the only option, but would take years to develop. Winger or 3C is a big need that can join the team much sooner.
Of course it's not do-able. It's not even close.Curious if a #8OA for #22OA+Namestnikov+Pionk is doable. If not, Kreider for 8OA if Edmonton has intentions of re-signing?
We have Bouchard coming. We are not pressed for RHD
Are they not going to use #4 overall on a center?AVs recent playoff success, they still need a 2C and would be willing to move up.
1st-16th
Kerfoot (consecutive 40+ point seasons)
AVs -3rd
Oilers could even dump a salary if they accept a smaller package.
I mean, for a good reason.Wild fans really really really want Turcotte.
