I think the games are getting to him- he looked awful on Friday compared to before the injury ( it also may be that Crosby ate him for lunch and would have done so with the pre injury Karlsson).
I do think once Redden or Seids is ready they are coming back. It doesn't look like Ference is odd if he isn't skating yet. I don't see Julien leaving 3 rookies in the line up if he doesn't have to.
I figure Krug will come out and Bart and Hamilton stay if its Redden.
When Seids comes back I figure Dougie is out of the line up unless he beats Redden back (then I can see them going with the planned defense for the Leafs game 7).
I think the kids are doing great but Torts is going to figure out a way to expose them-and if we get by the Rangers the Pens and and Sens sure as heck will.
No coach would leave 3 rooks in if they didn`t have to so I really have no issues with this but I`m not too sure Torts would figure anything out though. He`s a Cup winning coach but still, IMO, one of the most over rated coaches out there. In the Rag games I watch, I see no in game adjustments, I see the Rags basically just executing his game plan better on some nights which isn`t much different from our boys.
His MO has long been, block shots/passing lanes, then use the stretch pass, other than that, I see little to nothing as far as systems
Still a believer that the loss of real character guys like Prust/Dubinsky and the big body of Anisimov is missed there
Torts still under .500 in the playoffs if not mistaken
