Not to pile on you, I realize the team is better with Wood out of the lineup, but the bashing is sad to me, he was a unique weapon and a Shero find during the dark times, it was great to watch his development until the injury, or maybe the league just getting faster as a whole, seemed to make him ineffective.

Similarly it's sad to see Sharangovich being effectively eliminated from the team's long term future.

Edit: Err not Shero, attributed him to that Devils era, but Lou/Conte picked him.

He's not smart, that's his biggest issue.

Jack’s been the guy no doubt. Hischer has also been outstanding albeit a bit quieter on the scoresheet outside of that beauty pass to Siegs. But he’s been simply amazing defensively.
Rags fans heaping tons of criticism on Mika and Panarin for idk something like “not competing hard enough” or “not enough effort” while completely disregarding who they’re facing.

Decided to try and read Lazerus piece after game 4. Got a paragraph and a half before stopping. He said Jack was too small and slight in year one which made him "injury prone". He only missed 8 games in year one and then ZERO in year 2. He played 118 games of a possible 125 the first 2 years of his career.

I'd like to see him register a few points and his penalties have mostly been trash, so yeah, I'm not gonna argue that too much.

Last night he was exceptionally bad, particularly in the 1st and 2nd periods.

He wants to do too much imo. But I'm not really worried in general. He was the best scorer at SJ and now has to adapt to a team with other very good players. He needs to find the right balance between driving the play and letting the play comes to him.

In particular, I'm craving to see others set him up more for one timers. But it will not happen if he keeps trying to drive the play.

But he's probably a bit nervous too, it's normal to try to push your luck when you are a player that should bring a lot of goals.
