I'm not going to blame the refs for this loss. Fact is that we have yet to play a really strong game in this series. We cannot string together 60 solid minutes.

Bergeron had a poor game. With Marchand and Pasta struggling with their timing, Bergeron's own woeful finishing is coming to the fore. He has struggled to put the puck in the net all season and it is really hurting us now. No excuses - he needs to do better. I'd like to see a statement game from him on Wednesday.

People need to stop whining about Cross. Yeah he sucks - he's a 28 year old d-man who's never been able to get a spot in the NHL. What did you expect? He's what - our 10th option? Who else are we calling up? OGara?

Our defense is completely depleted. And Ottawa still needs the refs to help them win.
