They were flying after the second goal. The third one shook them up - completely pressing and discombobulated. That finish to the period was really ugly and looked like a team that's mentally out of it. The siren couldn't come fast enough as they need to regroup.

Outside of the 2 Coyle chances, they haven't generated many high-danger opportunities.

What's lost in all this is the lack of goal scoring. Cassidy is screwing this team with his lines. Put the second liner on the second line for crying out loud. It's great the third line might look decent tonight, the fact is goals need to be scored. That second line is neutered right now and needs to have three dangerous players. Said it before the playoffs and will keep saying it. Really pissed off right now with the matchups and the lines. And same old crap on stupid number of breakaways being given up. This coaching staff refuses to adjust. Playoff ceiling is low apparently with this staff. Disgusting given that the Bs have the better team. Freaking get the lines straight to give them a chance offensively, get the matchups right (you're at home dumb ass), settle down and get back in it.

They won’t. They’ll bounce off the Leaf players.

The problem : wrong line up, undiscpline game decision and they need to get 88 down the line up where competition will not be as good. Toronto game plan on the first line is working and they don’t have space. And 2 of 48 and 47 in the line up when injuries are back can’t be. Chose one.
Still one to go and everything can happen but their execution is simply bad... they will need to put their jobber boots.
