Great way to start the playoffs. Broken record, but the three deadline acquisitions continue to be paying off in spades. Bert the obvious best Bs forward tonight. Coyle is a bull moose. Zacha made some really nice defensive plays. Ullmark held the fort.

Ridiculous that both teams ended up with 2 PPs each. FLA got away with an insane amount and still lost, so whatever, but against a better opponent it could be costly. Clown show.

Big kudos to the sick Bs who gave it a go and came out on top. Hopefully the sickness works its way through fast and the boys can get back to normal. Bs outclass FLA by quite a bit on the ice and behind the bench. Keep it rolling!

No but they are vicious hitters. Bruins handled them perfectly.

The defense really put it on lockdown in the 3d, though Orlov was an adventure today.

Taylor Hall and Charlie Coyle were the two best players for me.

Lots of nerve from a few guys and Foligno has a reputation for taking bad penalties, he can't take that one and he needs to cut it out.

I would have given the 3rd star to Coyle. Btw, the only time I heard Foligno's name tonight was when he was called for a penalty.
If Bergy plays Wednesday, Foligno s/b the healthy scratch.

Yeah, they certainly weren't at their best but got it done. I imagine Florida can push a bit harder too but if the Bruins can kick this flu bug and get Bergeron back, then I'll be feeling good.

Well.... The boys really have me worried in the first period. Then we slowly start to take over in the second period.
We played basically just a 30 minute game in won 3-1.
Orlov even had to assist on Asschucks goal.

So do we see Swayman in net in game #2?

Shaky start for the B's but great to see them get the win anyway.

Zacha, Coyle, Bertuzzi, Orlov, McAvoy and Linus were our best players, IMO.
