That game was stolen by Murray. He had a solid game while Elliott was ... Elliot.
Elliott of game 1 or Elliott of game 2?

I agree on that. I blame officiating for the series being trash, not for the Flyers being down. It just has been 3 blowouts. Not entertaining at all, and the games haven't had any stretch of even strength play longer than what, 10 minutes?
Sullivan >>>>> Haktard.
That's the main difference for me.
Refs are bad for both teams.
Game 1. Played for xtremlty bad the first goal... didn't challenge and stayed to much in net. Didn't battle enough to see the puck. Murray in the other hand kept Pittsburgh in the game till Elliott being Elliott!Elliott of game 1 or Elliott of game 2?
I just don't get how they let go an obvious penatly like Schultz hook on Konecny or Couts punching Letang in the face. But then Call that Hagelin slash and that Rust "trip". Not consistent at all. Very confusing for the players I bet.

Keep talking. I actually saw the Flyers when they were scary good. This ain't then. This is a new season brother,as a seasoned hockey fan like yourself should know all that goes out the window. Its all tied up at 1 each in a race to 4.
And the Pens could be the Pens. They do this alot in the playoffs.
How does a goalie steal a game when the team wins 5-1.
Do you think that a senile guy would actually know that the word was "ruse"?It could be a roose or maybe he went senile
I was not taking a shot at your Pens... was simply saying how good was Murray. In the other hand... Elliott let a couple of fluke goals and it did change the game. And the Pens could be the Pens. They do this alot in the playoffs.
That's exactly what I except a Cup winning goalie to do. Not every night of course but to win a Cup the goalie has to be consistently one of the best players.Yeah he didn’t steal it but he was easily our best player in the 1st period when Philly looked threatening.
That is right. Without the break mitten save and key save in the first and before the fluke goals.... Flyers were better than Pittsburgh. Murray is the game difference in this game.Yeah he didn’t steal it but he was easily our best player in the 1st period when Philly looked threatening.
You are right. And this is the big difference between Flyers and Pens. That's exactly what I except a Cup winning goalie to do. Not every night of course but to win a Cup the goalie has to be consistently one of the best players.

Look at the game again.... you will see that Elliott was not at his best. If you can't see it i can't help!Which were these, exactly?
5-2, Pens.
Balance is restored to the Universe.
If you're waiting for that, I can't help you.Look at the game again.... you will see that Elliott was not at his best. If you can't see it i can't help!

Bumpis... or whatever. Don't need your help to see that the big difference in this game was Murray. That said.. Murray is a Penguin... so don't be shy or offended by this boy.If you're waiting for that, I can't help you.
He’s likely injured. He’s a non factor and that’s a real negative. He influence a game a lot but he’s done nothing since the beginning of the year.I'm stunned with how quiet Simmonds has been in this series. He usually gives the Pens fits.
You are right. That is what i meant. Language barrior. Thanks for your precision.a goalie playing badly does not mean all or any goals scored against him are "fluke goals"
fluke goals are goals that ordinarily would not be scored no matter how well or how badly the goalie is playing
a goalie playing badly and getting hammered is hardly out of the ordinary
