It’s embarrassing. There are a lot of things you want to say right now but talking doesn’t do much.
Our guys better figure it out quickly here and realize that stupid, selfish penalties are going to cost us against this team.
They have too much skill, shooting ourselves in the foot from the very first few minutes, that is not going to give us a chance to win.
- Ryan McDonagh

You just have to wipe it clean. It’s one game. It’s a tied series. We’re going down to Tampa.
A lot comes down to making good decisions with the puck on the blue lines. You could see when we lost the puck how fast they came back at us and they don’t need much.
They have a couple of guys that can definitely find the net.
- Henrik Lundqvist

Poor penalties, myself included. There’s no excuse for it.
It’s such an easy adjustment to be smart with our sticks, but it’s important that we understand what happens when we’re not disciplined.
- Derek Stepan

There is no doubt their top players had a very strong game and a couple of our guys didn’t. Johnson a doubt he took his game to another level tonight.
We need our top guys to do the same thing. I'm confident that we’re going to respond the right way. We always have.
- Alain Vigneault

Expect this team is smart enough to play a tighter game on the road. Need to reclaim home ice, and they know that.

Stay out of the box, we are the better team 5v5.

steal 2 at the road, avoid injuries, get back and win the next game...

sounds about right...

I think they're gonna win tonight. I'm more confident in this team's ability to bounce back than I am in its ability to step on a jugular.

I'm really hoping that Bishop lets in a few softies tonight. It's only a matter of time until that happens. I said the same thing about Fleury and Holtby though, so what do I know?

Also, no Chris Rooney tonight, right? Please?

Being six hours ahead means I can't watch every game and when I miss one I always dream about it right before I wake up. Missed last game and woke up annoyed because I dreamed they lost 2-1. It is not the first time I've wished I could live in my dreams.

To hell with these 8PM games. As if 1AM isn't already bad enough for us Euros...

I feel as if this team focuses better on the road than at home. They may not get the matchups they want, but I expect a better brand of hockey tonight.

Maybe all the hate raining down on him tonight will wake up MSL. Probably not, but who knows.

It's going to be incredibly disheartening if we get dominated and blown out again. We have to win this game and stay ahead. Being pushed against the wall against this team will send them golfing. Just win!

We should play pretending like we're down 3-1 in the series. We seem to play better when our backs are against the wall.

Oh, and there's that stat, too, that might make all of you a bit more hopeful:

NYR have won 11 of their last 12 game 3's on the road.

But lost 1 of their last 1. Either way, I think we bounce back strong and get a W tonight. Then lose game 4 and down the same old road we go.
