The save I have played most on EHM so far is one where:
Started career with Björklöven (my fave Allsvenskan team) in the 2nd tier.
Got promoted, came 2nd in Allsvenskan but won vs SHL team in my 'play-in/out' to go up.
2st SHL season came 6th in league and lost in 2nd round.
2nd year in SHL lost in final after coming 3rd in the regular season.
Hired by Red Wings just as their team was going to ****. (summer 2017, I did not apply... intended to win SHL, but too good a challenge to refuse!)
Howard was #1 level still... but when got Subban (~Jan 2018) traded for multiple 1st's
Datsyuk was #3C by then... retired summer 2018.
Zetterberg was still 1st line level... but retired out of blue in summer 2019.
Kronwall was still top 4 level until 2019... when hit cliff... traded him at 2019-20 deadline for a 1st from Vancouver... retired summer 2021.
Rebuilt the team. Almost got fired for trading Howard... then again with Kronwall.
Kapanen was already there.
Traded for: Larsson, Tanev, Jenner, Lowry, Subban, Lindberg, Lee, Crouse, Salomaki & Irving.
Signed FA: Fast, Cizikas, Gardiner & Sinitsyn.
Drafted: Larson (2019 1st), Lashoff (2018 2nd), Vaakanainen (2017 1st)
Scraped into playoffs and lost 1st round in 2017-18.
Came 5th in conference and lost in 2nd round in 2018-19.
Won cup in 2019-2020 over Nashville after coming 1st in East.
Let Mrazek (backup) and Coburn (#5) walk after cup win. Mrazek to UFA and Coburn traded to Nashville with 1yr left for 2x 2nds. He is till good, but Tanev better and played same role... needed to make room for Vaakanainen.
Halfway through 2020-21 now. 2nd in East... hoping to repeat but will be tough as Washington & Nashville are monstrous.

I traded Tatar+ for Larsson... he is on 2nd pair for balance... but is my #1.
I got Subban and Lindberg for deals built around 1st round picks when they were RFA's who naffed off because the teams lowballed them on RFA deals.
Crouse I traded a 2nd round pick and a decent prospect for after he struggled to adapt to NHL for draft team.
Jenner, Lowry and Tanev I picked up on the cheap after bad seasons.
Salomaki, Lee and Irving were almost given too me... but their skills fit with what I wanted.
Fast, Cizikas and Gardiner were my UFA ventures... one each season.
Sititsyn was Euro UFA from KHL... spent some time in AHL before NHL.
Drafted players in team:
Vaakanainen is real. And hotly tipped.
Larson is a generated player. Albertan centre who I traded up to ~#17 in draft to get... gritty (and dirty) but offensively gifted, 6'0 and 200lbs. Has #1C potential. His defense needs to improve though.
Lashoff is a generated player. American goalie who is ~6'1. Great athlete and has #1 potential. Was USAs WJC goalie. Went straight from college to NHL with no AHL time as so good.
Level of players now:
Nyquist is ~40 goal, 80 point winger. Assistant captain.
Lindberg is ~70pt centre.
Jenner is ~50pt wing. PKs. Captain.
Lowry is ~50pt winger.
Larson is ~40pt centre... but has 1C upside.
Kapanen is ~45pt winger.
Crouse is ~30pt winger.
Cizikas is ~30pt shutdown C. Top PKer. Assistant captain.
Fast is ~40pt PKing winger.
Holmstrom is ~30pt C/W... too good for 4th line but is only slot for him. He plays a lot on 2nd and 3rd lines though when injuries occur.
Sheahan is ~20pt shutdown 4C. Good PKer.
Salomaki is utility guy, ~15pts, all 3 positions and PKs.
Lee is 13th forward. Can do a good job when plays.
Larsson is ~40pt #1. Top PK Dman. PP1.
Gardiner is ~40pt #2-3. PP1.
Smith is ~40pt #2-3. PP2.
Tanev is ~20pt shutdown #3-4. PKer.
Sititsyn is ~30pt dynamic puckmoving #4-5 Dman. PP2
Vaakanainen is ~20pt shutdown #5 atm. Top PK Dman. Could end up #2-3.
Irving is a #5-6 really... good D.
Subban is ~5th best goalie in NHL. Behind my D gets ~.925-.930 a year as the team D is immense. (forwards are strong overall too... 2nd line weakest.)
Lashoff is a 21 year old but good already. Maybe ~3rd best goalie his age or younger in world.
