Adam Sandler - The Waterboy, I love Happy Gilmore but the waterboy is his iconic character
Heath Ledger - The Joker
Julia Styles - 10 Things I Hate About You
Kirstin Dunst - Cheerleader
Tobey McGuire - Spiderman
David Tennant - Doctor Who #10
Emma Watson - Hermione Granger
Ryan Gosling - The Notebook
Rachel McAdams - Mean Girls
Edward Norton - American History X
Kate Beckinsale - Underworld
Vin Diesel - Fast and Furious

Kirsten Dunst, to me, has to be the Virgin Suicides. Maybe, in a pop-culture sense, for her being in Spider-Man too, but I don't think so.

Joseph Gordon-Levitt, imo, is 500 Days of Summer. He may have had peripheral roles in bigger movies, but him prancing around the park to Hall and Oates is the first thing I think of about him.

It wouldn't surprise me if most associate her with Interview With A Vampire

Me neither, but I wondered if she was too young to make that kind of connection. She was a teenager crush for a while

A few that i picked off as i read thru the thread

Joaquin Phoenix-walk the line
Willem Dafoe-Boondock Saints (biased one of my personal favorite movies)
Cuba Gooding Jr-Boyz in the Hood
Robin Wright-for me its Jenny in Forest Gump
Neil Patrick Harris-he has 2 and the differnce between the 2 roles is insane
and for any one that disagrees that Leonardo DiCaprio's most iconic role isnt Titanic theyre insane. My 16 yo cousin and theyre friends watch that movie just as much as my hs gf did when it came out. That movie for some reason will never die.

It wouldn't surprise me if Joker becomes Joaquin's signature role
I saw Boondock Saints, and I don't even remember Dafoe being in it
Cuba Gooding's most iconic role, I would think, is Jerry Maguire. He took home the Oscar for Best Supporting Actor. "Show me the money!"
I guess you could go with Forrest Gump, but I'd lean more towards The Princess Bride, or House Of Cards

He was a key part in the movie. He was the lead investigator for the FBI

I guess it's just not enough of a memorable film

I would think far more people associate him as the Goblin, or possibly Platoon

Its a cult classic thats for sure. But that movie came out my freshman year in college while i was in Boston and it became a favorite of mine

Hopper is either Blue Velvet or Apocalypse Now for me.

I'm also a big fan of his True Romance scene with Walken.

For me, it's between Pulp Fiction and The Deer Hunter for Walken

I'd lean towards The Deer Hunter, simply because he played a more vital role in the film
