Honestly you can argue that Pacino may be more known to majority for Scarface

Scarface is more iconic with younger generations then Godfather

Also disagree with Gibson he and Glover will always be mostly associated as Riggs and Murtaugh first and foremost to people

Sometimes it's tough to separate a popular or notable movie from a great performance. Like Robert Pattinson most would think of him from Twilight, but I think of him from Good Time.

I think an obvious one is Anthony Hopkins is Silence of the Lambs

I definitely think of Mad Max when it comes to Mel Gibson.

Hanks, Snipes, and Keanu all have a few that could qualify.

I originally had Hanks for multiple roles, but it really does have to be Forrest Gump

Keanu's iconic role is easily Neo from The Matrix

And Snipes's iconic role is definitely Blade

Keanu’s done Bill and Ted, Point Break, Speed, and now the John Wick series. Any of those could qualify IMO.

And maybe it’s because I’m a Snipes fan, but there’s a slew of movies I think of when I think of him.

Like 8 years ago we did a bunch of polls on these, you should make some it could be fun :P

All the old ones would have gotten wrapped up in the purge.

Julia Roberts
Erin Brockovich or Pretty Woman

I don't think Brockovich has stood the test of time, it's not a movie commonly brought up in my experience. It's Pretty Woman. One of the most iconic films in a cornerstone genre.

Brad Pitt
Too many to list

I don't think he has one. I'm sure I could pick one if I had to but he's mostly notable for being Brad Pitt more so than any particular role.
