Our RH defensemen are not young guys. Dylan (23) could very well still be in our future plans.

Dan Girardi- 31
Dan Boyle-39 in July
Kevin Klein-30

Great point, and Graves is what 19? We'll have a place for him as soon as next season. We have absolutely no depth on RHD and Dylan fits a team need.

trying to fit him into last nights game some where. would he have helped us? answer is probably not.

the bolts are a fast creative team. not sure dylan would have kept up with their speedy forwards. our top 4 looked like clowns all night. scary to think what mcilrath would have looked like.

Well, that purely hypothetical bad outcome should definitely deter the team from giving him a chance.

Leveling Tyler Johnson and Anjej Palat away from the crease and making them regret they ever considered skating that close to Henrik.

Considering no one else is doing that... I think that would be very valuable to the team.

Nah, every single dman needs to be a two way force or they're just useless. That's why there's like 12 decent dmen in the whole league and teams go far without any of them all the time.

Can this deflecting question be augmented to "Do you watch Hartford often and feel you're savvy enough to watch a minor leaguer vs. other minor leaguers and determine the NHL readiness of said player?"
It's funny how all of the Dylan haters deflect that answer. Watching him in the minors, or players in junior is called scouting, it's at least an educated guess instead of just talking out of your ass.

I've yet to see anyone who does watch Dylan play in Hartford say he will not make it or isn't likely to make it. But there are plenty of internet scouts talking about foot speed, hockey iq, passing etc but know nothing about the actual player outisde of a few preseason game in the last few years.
