Well, if they trade Talbot, Mando gets a callup, so it's a Belleville signing regardless of whether or not they trade Talbot.

They didn't need to sign him to an NHL contract though. He was already in Belleville playing on an AHL deal, all this does is give the Senators the ability to recall him for NHL games if needed.

Interesting given that they already had Mandolese and Bibeau on NHL deals down there.
