It was just PP lines but Backes, Oshie, and Lindstom aren't skating.


PP units w/ those three not skating:
Tarasenko, Lehtera, Schwartz, Shattenkirk, Steen
Berglund, Jaskin, Paajarvi, Bouwmeester, Pietrangelo.

I'm liking Jaskin and Schwartz working on center assignments. I know it's only practice but not having ott on the PP and Jaskin centering over Berglund is a positive to him.

Is that confirmed? Let's hope Stastny gets back soon. This is a perfect example of why I've been on board with holding onto Berglund until Fabbri is ready. You can never have enough players capable of filling in at center.

I'd go these lines if Backes, Lindstrom and Oshie can't go. We should dress seven D and go with something like this
Schwartz-Lehtera-Tarasenko
Steen-Berglund-Paajarvi
Jaskin-Ott-Porter
Cole-Lapierre-Reaves(yes i'm serious about Cole on the fourth line)

Cole should just run around steamrolling people.

The lines are a mess with injuries, inconsistencies, etc.. but here's my guess:

Beleskey - Getzlaf - Perry
Heatley - Kesler - DSP
Silfverberg - Karlsson/Rakkel - Cogliano
Jackman - Thompson - Etem

Lindholm - Beauchemin
Fowler - Stoner
Fistric/Allen - Vatanen

Andersen
Gibson

Injuries: Lovejoy, Palmieri, Maroon, and possibly Allen (he may be healthy now though)

Edit: Sounds like Gibson gets the start tonight. Manson may also play instead of one of Fistric or Allen.
