At this point yes, but for how long? Playing in a pro league definitely has advantages over playing in college. The players can spend more time training rather than class (or finding a paper writer), make money, and could avoid the NCAA rules and regulations.

Now this is a long shot, but if the quality of competition in the league stayed high and the league showed it wasn't a joke and had some staying power I could see NFL bound high schoolers going there instead of college
The thing is though, the players in this league aren’t paid that well,they would be better off getting a degree

Not sure about that. They get a 3 year 250K contract. 70K for the 1st year, 80K for the second, and 100 for the 3rd. There are also performance bonuses, and if they play an entire season they get healthcare coverage, and apparently education benefits. Not sure what those are, but it's listed as one of the perks. Not to mention they aren't locked into the contract. If they are good enough to get picked up by an NFL team they can leave anytime. I don't know about you, but that's a pretty solid deal for a young person, and probably more tempting than going to college.
