I think he can still be a NHL player, but he's left a lot to be desired since his "breakout" half season. As others have stated, pretty much has gone away from everything that has made him a successful hockey player.

Which Conacher and Holland are you talking about?

Cory Conacher is listed as 5'8" and hasn't played in the NHL for three years. Peter Holland is 6'2" but hasn't played in the NHL in five years, and was retired last year. He is currently signed to a PTO with Colorado anyway. They're also 33 and 32.

I don't see the connection with a 6'2" 24 year old Comtois who has played in the NHL for the past 5 years.
