Darn, was looking forward to seeing him compete at this level.
Well, that sucks. Hope he manages to turn a negative into a positive and plays the rest of the year with a chip on his shoulder.

I would be fine with Pahlsson 2.0Slighty above average offensively means 35-50 pts while being elite defensively. I'd take that in a heartbeat. That kind of players bring in trophys.

He has a looooooong road ahead to become ''elite defensively''Lundestrom could become the Kole Calhoun of Centers: elite defensively, just slightly above average offensively.
Could Dostal lead this group to the medal?

Groulx not in the lineup for Moncton today. I wonder if he is being held out in case Lafreniere is done for the tournament (which he probably is).
I saw the Czechs added a player today after it was determined Lauko was done for the tournament. I am unsure if they left a spot on their roster open for him or not.I don't think there's a backdoor for Groulx to get back to the WJC, Canada seems to have their 23-man roster set...
Maybe he finds it surreal that with all the promoting the Ducks have done, it looks like they only sold about 8 tickets a half hour before puck drop.
Surreal? That feels like a weird way to describe that
Their endowment can afford it.It is kind of surreal to me that Harvard has to fly cross-country to play a non-conference game (against Arizona State, of all teams) midseason for what essentially amounts to an exhibition and not an actual tournament
