By the current standard, I'd agree with snark, but this probably should be happening even if there's no injury on the play.

It's the kind of hit that was supposed to have been gone from hockey a long time ago. I think they give guys leeway now because guys turn away from hits and it's hard to anticipate someone's movements, but there's zero excuse for that one. DVM put it perfectly, it was an awful hit gone right.
