Scrivens is just resorting to his old Allaire TO coached ways. The way he holds his glove and his constant blocking of shots is reminiscent of his TO ways.

Yeah I seem to remember how unorthodox it was for him to hold his glove up, and he contributed a lot of his success to it saying how it was quiker to drop it to make a save than to lift it.
He doesn't do that anymore. It's like he just gave up.

These types of games are good in a way. Shows how far away the Oilers are from being competitive in the West. Hopefully Bob Nicholson and Daryl Katz are watching and seeing what MacT seems unwilling/unable to. The defensive core is a million miles away from even mediocre.

MacT needs to bring in 2 d-men better than anything we have, and a starting goaltender. Unless all three of those players are brought in, I don't see much hope with next season. And since MacT has proven through 2 seasons that he can't do it. We need someone who can.

Is there any proof that Darryl Katz even watches these games? He really doesn't seem to be the super fan and proud Edmontonian he claimed to be when he was trying to win public support when he was buying the team.
