This is obviously Gaudreau. Draisaitl is a 50 point center away from McDavid.
Right, but he had the faith in him to split them up during the 2nd round of the playoffs, you know the most important games of the year. The fact that Draisaitl is still glued to mcdavid despite Edmonton having the worst scoring depth in the league really speaks volumes about how little faith TM has in him
And how's that working out for Edmonton?Or maybe TM just wants to keep the highest scoring duo in the league together again this season. Your conclusion makes zero sense.

Its almost like you have no idea what you're talking about.
This post is heavily hilarious and ironic even if it isn't trueDon't bother with him he doesn't add any value or facts to the conversation except to hate on Edmonton any chance he gets. We'll see how great Nylander is when he's not getting carried around by Matthews.
Yeah, why split up a duo tho work so well together. The fact that Draisaitl is still glued to mcdavid despite Edmonton having the worst scoring depth in the league really speaks volumes about how little faith TM has in him
how many of those teams were dead last in scoring?Yeah, why split up a duo tho work so well together.
Why not split up Kane - Panarin (last year), or Benn - Seguin or Schief - Wheeler etc. clearly one is carrying the other and one is just attached to the others hip because the coach has no trust.
what kind of dumb logic is this
Okay, so let’s objectively discuss this?Don't bother with him he doesn't add any value or facts to the conversation except to hate on Edmonton any chance he gets. We'll see how great Nylander is when he's not getting carried around by Matthews.
how many of those teams were dead last in scoring?
If Draisaitl's edge over Gaudreau is he's a center who can drive his own line, why would you not even try that while your team can't score?
because we have ZERO competent RW's for McDavid (or Drai). when these both got split up, Nuge goes to 3c (which makes no sense putting him in) and all our RWers become anchors. TMac doesn't want Nuge on the wing (which makes sense) so Drai is the next best thing.how many of those teams were dead last in scoring?

Maybe it sucks but the greatness of McDavid is he makes other players better. His line would be dangerous no matter what. Once McDavid and his line comes off the ice, do you think the team should stop being a threat? Because that's what happensHave you looked at the RW depth chart? Maybe, just maybe, McLellan doesn't want to give his franchise centre absolutely nothing to work with. How many teams in the league make their #1C play with a 30-35 point winger and a sub 30 point winger?
I'm well aware of the weakness Edmonton has. But the problem is, you have ZERO effective scoring lines when McDavid and Draisaitl steps off the ice. Don't you think it's worth trying to correct that?because we have ZERO competent RW's for McDavid (or Drai). when these both got split up, Nuge goes to 3c (which makes no sense putting him in) and all our RWers become anchors. people would think you knew all this seeing how much of an oilers opinionist you are

What objective measure would you like to discuss?Okay, so let’s objectively discuss this?
Explain why you think Draisaitl is better? I hope you’ve got more than just a stat line for the guy who plays with a 100pt, Hart, Art Ross, Lindsay winning centreman?
