Big fan of making moves like that, if the Wild still have a guy they like on the board, throwing away the later picks to get a guy with potential is perfect. Love what we have accomplished with this draft.

So we took a guy who could have been drafted at #3 or #4, or at #2 in other years. We got him at #9. Win.

We got two guys in the second round that in some leader's opinions were late 1st rounders in Khooshie and ROR.
Double win.

Hunt was projected to be a 3rd-4th and we got em.
Solid.

Novak was supposed to be a 3-4th rounder. We got him in the 5th.
Win.

Generally I'm for quantity over quality of picks but I can't help but be excited by Novak and Khusnutdinov so I'm good with trading up there. Not as much with the defensemen but we got Rossi and Khusnutdinov so the rest is just gravy to me, frankly.
