Speculation: Does Sanderson overtake EK65?

I was listening to Overdrive yesterday and O-Dog said Sanderson should be nominated for the Norris this year, that he is a great defenseman. Compared it to the year Fox won. Pleasantly surprised that this even came up as a topic.

Ya I saw that. It kind of feels like Sanderson will be a lock top 5 in Norris voting, if he stays healthy.

If by 'stats' you mean Stanley Cups, I'm leaning towards yes.

As others have said Karlsson was the best puck moving/offense generating defender in quite some time. Sanderson's game isn't gonna come close to that, but it sure is gonna winning some playoff games.

Karlsson is a slam dunk hall of famer and probably one of the top 10-D men in NHL history. So in the words of alfie. Probably not.
