Yep. I got laughed at when I said Scheif was a top 10 center at the beginning of the year.

Worth mentioning that Laine is also very young for his draft class. Won't be 19 until the regular season is done and gone.

10 games in... More of a hot start than a top 10 c. Great player on the rise. I'd say top 20 for now. No way he's top 10

Guy is sick. As a Leafs fan, I have felt he could end up better than Matthews since before the draft last year, but I still wanted to take Matthews, having that first line center is essential. All that aside, I think he should be good for 40 goals consistently I think. Beast of a player.

Good way of putting it. Matthews was and still is the right guy for the Leafs, but I'm a huge Laine fan and liked him as the #1 pick for the Habs at the time. He's sure looking good right now.
