He was getting nowhere near 50-points with us. Even playing off wing he doesn't make our top-6 and probably not top-9. Liked him as he was a "good soldier" so to speak, and did whatever was asked, but no, don't miss him and wouldn't replace anyone on top-9 with him.

Hes useful and likeable, but hes the kind of guy id prefer to have inked at around 1-1.5 mil aav. His offensive totals are a bit decisiving this year since Ottaw is void of tslent theres a lot more opportunity for usage for a guy like him

Ideally the Leafs can find a cheaper version among thr depth players hitting free agency this summer

No, Babcock destroyed his offensive skills. He needed a fresh start somewhere else.

He was legit a black hole offensively last year.

Not that much. He was n underpowered utility player with a bit of offensive awareness similar to a Matt Stajan, but we needed an upgrade on him at that position.

I liked Brown a lot, but I don't think the Leafs miss him really. He's a good player to have, but he's playing on the top line for a last place team. Basically, there's no one else to score so he's taking advantage .

Big fan of Connor Brown, what he brought to the table, and his work ethic in particular. I'd love for him to still be a Leaf.

But, he wasn't better than Marner, Nylander or Kapanen... that made him our 4RW... and we couldn't afford to pay our 4RW $2.1.... sucks, but that's reality.

Connor Brown doesn't play 1st pp minutes. 39th in the NHL in 5v5 points this season (only Matthews and Nylander on the Leafs have more).

Happy to see he is doing well. Leafs' should have traded Kapanen for help on D and kept Brown.

I'm still stinging from the summer of 2019 when several of my favourite Leafs were discarded for the likes of Ceci, Barrie, Kerfoot.

I like Brown but how could you ever justify having him in the top 6, where he is now in Ottawa, a team fighting for 1st overall. Hes not Hyman, hes a 3rd liner who can produce a little, kill some penalties, and give you effort. But beyond that he doesnt bring much to the table. Hes a meh 3rd/4th line player on a competitive team.

Kerfoot does absolutely nothing. He's worse than former bandaid players like santorelli, raymond and parenteau.

He's on the same level as that sjostrom guy.
