If I'm the Rangers I do make that deal. You take Byram at #4 and you are set with your future Top pair defensemen for a decade. You still have #20 to pick the best forward or even Knight. Come on! Kakko instead of Makar and Byram? That's EASY.

Yeah I was being sarcastic. Canucks fans were pretty brutal right around the draft in an effort to unite the Hughes brothers. My question is what do they plan on doing when it’s Luke Hughes’ draft year?

It would have to be ridiculous though. When a team is attempting to get something from another that is not on the block and they have no interest in trading, they name the price. I don't think the Rangers would trade Kakko for 4 and Makar.
