Ryan won't resign. It's Chris Phillips team now.

Phillips' team eh? Frankly I would rather see both of them take a hike, neither one is worth what they're being paid; in Phillips' case it's due to a severe case of cement feet, in Ryan's it's a lack of intensity (Burke was right).

Philly isn't going to trade for Ryan when they have a better shot than anyone at signing him if he becomes a UFA

Plus they don't need a guy like Ryan, they need defense and goaltending

let the flyers sign him then trade methot to philly for ryan back....
