Cool to see Zav year up the Russia series, as well as a Pelletier.

Easily our best two prospects right now and I am really high on Emelio as well.

When I saw Zavgorodniy had been loaned to SKA of the KHL, I thought he might be headed to the VHL as SKA is generally a veteran-laden team (less so this year with the KHL's new salary cap).

But he showed me wrong, he just had 3 assists in 11:16 icetime in his KHL debut (a 6-4 win).

Apparently SKA has few players in quarantine because of Covid, and that's why they got Zavgorodniy. Hopefully he gets to play a lot even after those players return

All jokes aside, when you play with an elite talent like Lafreniere, you pick up on some very good habits. Would Leon Draisaitl be an NHLer without McDavid? probably not.
