Great hitters like Gwynn, Rose, Boggs, Carew battled and the K was not something they were happy with

because they don't have a clear replacement for him. As I posted in the other thread though. It's time to cut him loose. He can't play off the bench. But with Melky likely down for a few games at least now we'll get to see him regularly which is a horrible thought.

Gose should be up instead of Sierra. If he hasn't learned how to hit now he's not going to. At least use him as a better bench option with speed who knows how to play Center

This is what I meant. Sierra is useless. He's worse then Thames.

There is nothing to defend. What you see is what you get. A below average team that will place last again.

Like p.l.f said, the casual fans will stop going to games and tuning in with this disaster. Mike Wilner will find positive, don't worry.

I defended the fact that they should not do something for the sake of doing something but having said that, its pretty clear there are some fundamental flaws with the way this team is constructed and that's entirely on AA.

I've been here. Well, I've been active in the Raptors threads. I've just missed the last couple days of Jays games because of the Raptors and other commitments.

and yes, Navarro is basically the exact opposite of JP. He doesn't have JP's power, but he hits for contact, doesn't strike out, calls a good game, plays decent D, and seems like a pretty genial, humble dude.

You forgot the most important thing. Navarro takes walks, JP just takes walks back to the dugout.
