Came here to say that I was shocked at how good Hughes was last night. That game was the one that gave me the confidence that he’ll eventually be a beast in a couple of years. He was buzzing all over the place and despite the fact that he wasn’t built enough to be in the show last year, he didn’t demonstrate the skills he showed yesterday.

I’m happy to eat a big bowl of crow today and I’ll take some more any other day of the week.

Right now if the Devils can get points, then when the 3 key players still not with the team arrive all the better. With the new division and only 56 games, the Devils need to get 2 point games, this statement doesn't make me a genius.
