He's okay, but I'm kind of wanting to not bring him back. He's a decent bottom pairing guy, but if we ever wanna make upgrades to the defense, we can't be bringing back every single bottom pairing defenseman and their brother.

He's better than Santini by roughly the distance between the North Pole and the equator though.

Haha I actually made that post right after the goal happened.

But I have been asking for the last week (probably the last month) if Drew Stafford will score one more (non-shootout) goal before his career ends and I said he might have another one in him.

For us, in January of 2020.

No chance on goals 1, 2 and 4 for Cory, but goal 3 was certainly stoppable. Too much short side.

And I think he should be given a bit of shit for it, as you need to be prepared for that happening when Santini fires a shot in the O-zone. That there's a good chance it will bounce off the glass and back out for an opposition rush or off a stick/shinpad for one.
