I'll be curious if Smith can hold up with a harder workload against BOS. It's one thing to play 24 minutes against the NYR this season but it will be harder against just about all the other divisional teams.

I would give him Saturday off and start Dell and then come back Sunday with Blackwood to give him an extra day rest

Worth it though.

If I were a goalie, I'd be sure to have a cool mask made for every team I was on even if for just one game (at least he got that). Proudly display them somewhere once your playing days are over.

The extra day's rest either comes Fri/Sat or Sun/Mon to it's a wash either way and you could argue that he doesn't need the rest just yet considering after tonight it's only 2 games back after a long layoff.

That being said, you probably hold Blackwood out until Sunday because of the opponents.
