I’m pretty sure Mercer still hasn’t missed a game in his career. He has generally been very durable.

i will somewhat agree. I think he came back from injury 'able to play', but wat not cutting it. We saw him starting to play better last 3 games. So yea... i hope tomorrow he steps up.

Yeah....after they went up 5-2, they coasted (until that stupid penalty and the resulting goal) so they have some more rest than they would've in a grinding 1-goal affair.

We said it (and Sharks fans had said it) that Timo is a "slow starter".

We saw that he was starting to rack the points before the injury and then he got injured.

Now he's back but the "slow starter" clock has been reset so we need to be patient.

Timo is clearly playing hurt. Hope everyone realizes that. We saw a healthy Timo last season. We saw him flying all over the ice, forechecking, transitioning and crashing the net and taking the body. He is currently unable to do many of those things. I still think its a groin

Then he should not be playing. He is hurting more than helping. No sense (if it is groin) continuing to make it worse. Get it taken care of now, and be back sooner than later.
