Damn. This is savage.

Meh. You can do that for just about any player who might be discussed. Matthews is gutless and is more interested in his AAV on his next deal and his stache than he is in winning. Having him lead your team is a recipe for playoff failure. There, anyone can do it.

The way I’m taking those notes on Rango is that teams are calling to see if he’s available. They’d be foolish not to do so, and we’d be foolish not to listen. He’s a year off scoring 25 goals and an affordable RFA.

If there is an offer that is too good to pass up, of course I’d move him in the right deal. I’d prefer to hold onto him though. I think he has shown he can be a middle six winger that can reasonably fill in beside Jack, if necessary, and be productive. In addition, he showed he can be a solid PKer alongside Nico, averaging the second highest SH TOI of any forward behind him.

He’s also a lovable goof who owns a bird!

I don't want to move away from him but you are spot on if the right deal comes in you take it.

Him and Nico PK pairing generated well last season. Always remember those give and go rushes last season.

More importantly, he named his bird Ham.

You can't let this man go anywhere.

Jack is a lock imo, the other two have a very goomegastar,

Yeah I think Jack has a very good chance of going up no matter what. The top 5 single season point leaders are all going to belong to Jack by the time he is done and as long as he stays here past this contract, he is likely to break franchise career point total.

Consistent Goal scoring? Sharengarbage? I wouldn't give him away but don't get carried away either🤔
He scored goals at pretty much the exact same rate his first two years before having a rough season this year. He shot under 5% from January on, which isn't likely to be a career trend. Goal scorers tend to be streaky. Have we forgotten Palmieri, who people bitched about when he wasn't scoring, but then ended up with 20+ goals every year? Or Rico, who ran hot/cold at times?

Haha, when you look at Palmieri’s stats here it’s like “oh man, what a consistent goal scorer!”

In reality he was the most Jekyl and Hyde guy ever, going on big time streaks and slumps and somehow always landing around 25 goals.
