Why would TOR trade Kadri for two 2nd round draft picks? Hoping that one of these picks is as good as Kadri? Guy got 5 more seasons before he is 30 and can easily put up 50 PTS.

We are 12 back. BOS only needs to go 9-8 to get to 94 PTS. We would have to go 14-2-1 to get to 94 PTS.

Time to bring up Matteau and Boucher.

We need a right wing so bad getting anything else would be ignoring reality. Tootoo, Bernier, Gionta is probably the worst depth for any single position in the entire league.

We need a right wing so bad getting anything else would be ignoring reality. Tootoo, Bernier, Gionta is probably the worst depth for any single position in the entire league.

Center depth isn't much better (Zajac, Elias, Gomez, Josefson).

I'm feeling a little positive for the future. Kids are growing up. We are going to drop a ton of dead weight at the end of the season.

So this is what it looks like to see Young players being DEVELOPED and not punished for being young(Deboer). How liberating.

Well, we also don't have Jagr, Ryder, or Havlat playing, so JJ has been given a chance to play with better players. He's making the most of it. Hopefully he keeps it up.

Not sure that is true. We won't have Ryder or Havlat, but will most likely resign Tootoo, Bernier, and Gomez.

Replace Salvador with a random UFA defenseman (hoping its Martin) and we probably pick up a UFA C.

Wasn't he also getting benched by Hydra?

Josefson's problem is that he shows flashes of looking good, but has trouble putting it together consistently.
