I don’t think they actually know Quick is the worst goalie in the NHL. Even worse than the former #29 for the Devils at this point.

So I’m not sure that’s the reason.

Can you blame them, after the crushing defeat last time they played NJ this is a must win game for both teams.

I honestly think so.

Some guys just suck because they suck, but Quick did not look at all capable of playing NHL goalie last year.

Looked much like what I’d expect a once very good goalie that’s been retired for 10-15 years and is now 45-50 years old would look like against NHL players in a live, modern day NHL game.

I wasn’t even kidding when I said that’s how I’d expect 58 year old Hasek to look if they let him play an NHL game in 2023.
