Bratt clearly lost the puck due to the Capital player poking it away. It goes 50 50 for the assist in those cases depending on the scorer. Big whoop.Checked NHL.com and they STILL only have Palms listed with an assist.
Give me a break.

The eye test says he is playing pretty ok but my god he just cannot finish and he also has been very unlucky with a ton of posts hit and getting robbed on crazy saves. I’d give him a two year deal at less money for a 3rd and 4th line role.Simmonds is hard to figure out, he’s still generating shots but his shooting % has cratered. He has 62 shots in 5v5 but his S% is a ghastly 1.61%.
It’s better in PP, 26 shots with a 11.54% S%, but his PP S% was 20-25% for most of career in Philly so that’s down too.
I think he was stunned like most of usWell it's nice to see that after the meh reaction after the Blackwood interference goal against the Avs.
Absolutely brutal. Once I saw Domingue was in I thought there was no chance.
I remember certain people saying we were ****ing Wood over by lowballing him.
I think it's easy to forget how good Wood was in '17-'18. He looks nothing like that now. No idea what happened.
Now I am wondering if we are even going to be able to pay all of Palms, Coleman, and Goose.
Doubt it, he's right but it really depends on term. None of those guys are young, and locking them all up for too much money until they are 34/35 would be nuts.We have plenty of Cap space. Unless you were joking?
2022 - 45 goalsI found a new reason to watch and get excited...Blake Coleman's quest for 30
2017 - 24 games - 1 goal - 2 points
2018 - 79 games - 13 goals - 25 points
2019 - 78 games - 22 goals - 36 points
2020 - 44 games - 15 goals - 23 points
So far this season it looks like Coleman is on track for his 4th consecutive year of improvement and his 4th consecutive year of increased goal production with just about no powerplay time. That's the kind of stuff you hope to see from some of the younger players but seeing it from a hard working player like Blake Coleman is just as satisfying for me.

The fact that Miles Wood makes more than Blake Coleman is obscene
We were at a company function last night so kept checking the game status as well as getting text updates from a friend. Got a message that Wood sucks with no explanation, then checked and saw Coleman scored SH. No further explanation was needed. Then saw an EN made it 5-1 and of course it had to be Wood. Ruined a perfectly great evening.
