Passed Ottawa and are now even with Anaheim (tied for 27th in the league) for point percentage. The next team above them is San Jose, but there's a little bit of a gap there. Less of a gap to Chicago and Montreal after San Jose. Would love for this team to get on a bit of a roll and get to 20th-18th in the next month or so.

This win was COMPLETELY out of nowhere like a Randy Orton RKO.

And Louis Domingue made me eat crow tonight.

I don’t think we really overpaid for him, as he was just coming off one down year and was only 30 years old. His one year deal for $5 million could have been a heist if he somewhat bounced back, But unfortunately he looks pretty nearly cooked or at the very least in a pretty significant decline.

Just got through the game. I’d imagine that the Caps weren’t at their best but the Devils played a really nice game. Very nice to see considering how the last couple of games turned out. the only thing that annoyed me was seeing Wood get the eng. He’s f***ing stupid and it pisses me off that he was rewarded. Bone headed doesn’t even begin to describe his penalty in the 2nd period. Could have turned the entire game around with that bull shit.

Simmonds is hard to figure out, he’s still generating shots but his shooting % has cratered. He has 62 shots in 5v5 but his S% is a ghastly 1.61%.

It’s better in PP, 26 shots with a 11.54% S%, but his PP S% was 20-25% for most of career in Philly so that’s down too.
