I hope going to a scrimmage doesn't require going there more than 2 hours ahead. I don't know how some people can show up at 6 am or earlier. What about bathroom breaks?

They started handing out wristbands.

Yeah I heard that, but where do people go to use the bathroom? The red rock? Go home and come back since they have wristbands? I'd like to go to the scrimmage on Friday. My girlfriend doubts there will be as much people as practice, but I believe that hardcore fans that want to get a glimpse of the future will be there.

There are public restrooms just behind main info desk.

Once wristbands are handed out, you only want to retain a position to get best spot to sit.

Have a group/someone hold a spot while making that run?

They open the doors at 6 am? I thought they open at 8 am. I'm asking because there were times we went at 7:30 to 8 am and the line was way too long. The only times I've gone to a practice were before people started to fill it in Oct and Nov when I wanted to look for hats and hoodies and wanted to catch part of the practice. I'm one of those people that hates lines, but would make an exception for the scrimmage. I also suffer from chronic pain so standing or even sitting outside for 1 to 2 hours would be miserable for me.

I tend to get distracted by the bar anyway tbh. Cold beer and shootin the breeze with whichever unfortunate bellies up nearby ahh that's the life.

Thinkin about coming out Saturday but the way practices were later in the year yikes. Might be a line round Red Rock Casino.

Enjoyed the last one greatly, and was impressed by several of our younguns here and there. Really looking forward to seeing Brannstrom and how far he's come the past year; he did show very well last year but I have some high hopes for him to help us out and have been told I need to put the crack pipe down oh well.

Also this one being at CNR will be a big improvement in facilities. Love going there man, might need to show on Friday to beat the crowd I suppose hrm...

Enjoyed going to D camp last year before all the frenzy. Now that I see the wristband thing (and maybe VGK are being overly optimistic about turnout?), I'm gonna pass this year. Loves me some hockey, but I am not a line stander. :shakehead

Give an update if you (or anyone else) goes, please. :nod:

I know I'm not a scout, but Ryan Chyzowski is going to blow you guys away. I'm flabbergasted that he wasn't drafted. I had him 'easily' in my Top-60. I was begging for my Habs to pick him up.

Kid loves to score and works so damn hard. Good leader as well. His father is a former NHL player and his brother (far less skilled) was a captain of a WHL team last year.

2 minute highlight video;

1-hour draft package clips;

Ps. Congrats on the playoff run, I was cheering for Vegas the moment Montreal was out of contention.

I wonder how early people will show up for the 5 am wristband give away? I was thinking I want to be there at 5 am, but we have some crazy fans that love to pack cna so I'm thinking at least an hour ahead. I hope it's not as crazy as those people that will be there the night before like on black friday at a bestbuy.
