Good for him. Was always a smart player and captained the battalion as well in his junior days. Remember him well.

Still wont be enough for Saarijarvi to return there next season.

Season ticket holder and there's a good chance he'll be back...if not then Flint has a high import pick to replace him

I don't think many of us have really seen him play enough but I would probably say around 8-10.

yeah, i was thinking maybe 7 or 8. although you guys would know much better.

probably a bit off here, but:

mantha
svech
holmstrom
saari
hicketts
bertuzzi
sadowy
ouellet
russo
sproul
turgeon

missing anyone? AA is an NHL guy to me.

I am impressed with Coreau and Jenson though many are not. I like Tangredi too but may not consider him as a "prospect." Some folks like Nosek but I don't think he is above anyone on your List.

For a non- wings fan it's pretty good actually. Mine would be more like:
Mantha, Svech, Lil Bert, Vili, Russo, Jumbo Joe, Homer, XO, Sadowy (just guessing on him using fairly limited info), Sproul, Turgeon

Jensen is already like 27 or 28. Idk how you can be impressed with him. Idk why people even call him a prospect

People who have watched him are impressed. He should be an NHLer. Hes only ever had great preseasons and is arguably the top D in GR. He should've got at least a shot in the NHL by now. I know Ouellet is younger but I'm starting to think his potential is no higher than what Jensen could be and Jensen is a righty

Righty means nothing. Especially now that we have marchenko and green. Who are miles ahead of Jensen. If he hasn't even played a single nhl game. Don't expect him 2.

Ouellet even out produced him in the ahl. And he played less games. The only thing Jensen has is skatin. Which don't make you a nhl player

Maybe he had a chance once upon a time. Not anymore. Unless he turns into lidstrom this summer

Sproul will probably go down the same route. People will talk about him like he still has a chance when he's 26 because once upon a time he had very good potential.

I'm just saying. Every story I read people keep saying. Welllll Jensen still has a chance to become a good nhl player. I just shake my head. Since you know. Not even holland has given him a chance

Problem is we have to many of these #4-7 type Dmen and that Holland loves his depth, and to hold onto other too long. At this point might as well trade him for whatever you can get

Why do people think professional sports are so scientific when it comes to talent? I feel like people really think if X prospect hasn't made it by now in X organization, then he never will. Its not like an evolving body of individuals has made their final decision about a guy - its a body of brains that has, largely, been selected by one or two major brains that has dictated every notion from there on out.

I don't really have an opinion about Jensen one way or the other, but I definitely feel like he should've been given a chance to show himself based on his skating and moderate IQ, alone. Its not like this company hasn't iced a roster featuring Derek Meech, Brett Lebda, Mathieu Dandenault, Jason Woolley, et al.

it's kinda weird that Jensen never got any NHL games at all in

a couple games here and there could have potentially made a big difference in his development

it's probably too late at this point though
