Kind of a shame, Forbort was outstanding before his injury this year, definitely one of the reasons the team overachieved during the first half of the year. But he just hasn't been the same player since returning.

Just want to give a shout out to Derek knowing he played injured & needs surgery .Odds are he has played his last game here but thanks for playing your guts out as a Bruin.Best of luck.

Anytime I get a dog or cat I know someday they will break my heart. But the love, the laughs and the experiences are worth the eventual hurt.
Derek reminds us with his love of Darla that while he is a hockey player he is first a person with a heart who loved his four legged family member.

Awwww....she was lucky to have had such a wonderful owner and the last chapter of her life was made so much better than it would have been without the big heart of Derek. Dogs are awesome, RIP Darla.
So sad, he was a loving Dad to Darla
