Hopefully Parayko's injury is one of those cases where if it were a playoff game, he'd be playing, but with the long Cup run and Mikkola acquitting himself well, a little extra time to heal/rest is doable.

Glad Mikkola is playing again but worried about Parayko.

Why? He’s still skating. It’s not like it’s a serious long-term injury.

This is a blessing in disguise. Parayko plays a lot of minutes. I’m more than happy to give him a week off in the middle of the season. We are in 1st place. Let his bumps and bruises heal and make sure he’s fresh for the 2nd half.
