This is the movie that has been in development hell since 2005

the book is great--and lets face facts

Scorsese with both Bobby D and Pacino?

I would love to know what the delay has been --

but the cast has now reportedly been signed and added to the cast is Bobby Cannavale and Frank Grillo

De Niro was reportedly on a talk show and said it was still coming

he is the back ground story of the movie

This is a movie a lot people want to see--and I think that is the problem

Both Pacino and De Niro have been doing a lot of bad-to-mediocro movies the last few years...it'll be awesome for them to team up with Scorcese to remind this generation just how great they were.

And what the hell happened to Joe Pesci the 10-15 years? He fell off after Lethal Weapon.

Pesci had retired.

This was a really good book. I haven't been much of a fan of Pacino's since before the millenium, hopefully he can bring his A game for this one.

When is this coming out...or has it? I don't keep up on movies much upon release date because I never have the time to go to the theatre but I'd make an exception to see this.

De Niro has done nothing good in maybe this century. I mean Meet the Fockers and that movie franchise really wasn't awful but I mean its not like it'd crack his top 10 of movies he's done.

If they've been working on this since 2005 and its 2015 now...chances are it will be really good.

Plus you can't forget that him and Pesci were stats in Goodfellas which Sconese had a hand in which is a classic and still popular today 25 years later.

De Niro was quite recently nominated for best supporting actor in a movie nominated for best picture, and the first movie(s) he's done this century was the Meet The Parents franchise?

If they wait too long these guys are going to be dead.

I guess the big question is...would De Niro dye his hair black? Lol.

I was never sure if that was Pesxi's real hair or not in Goodfellas. I would assume not because Home Alone was the same year and he looked well into balding so I guess the question is...would he have the black tupay? Lol

Interesting if you Google this the "initial release date" is for this year. Wonder what happened? The better question to me is why did this take so many years to happen? These guys are so much older now.

Pesci seems to be the kind of guy that when he makes up his mind, he really digs in his heels. I think Scorsese might have a hard time persuading him. Stranger things have happened, though.

That whole article seems reason enough for Pesci not to make another movie ever again, considering the way it's written.
