Peter Regin won't be back. I'm really beginning to think Oduya will be traded. If Leddy plays well in the postseason I could see them feeling that he is prepared to take over a 4D role.

Also Roszival could be dealt or retire. A lot of movement on the fringes of our lineup to make it work but the forward group will stay intact.

You can't say for sure, but I'm pretty confident the cap will be closer to 70M than 68M.

I don't think Oduya will be moved, but I do think Rozsival will be and Bryan Bickell may well be out the door as well, depending on how his playoffs go.

How did he look in his one game?

Runblad looked fine (was good on the retrievals and move the puck well), until he made a glaring error midway through the third in a one goal game when he stepped up on the play which lead to a 2 on 1 against us. That was the last we saw of him although I believe he is back in tonight.

He sure seemed slow in the feet in that game. Didn't look at all like I thought he would when his rep is that of a PMD.

I trust Stand but I didn't like his first game.

Are you basing that number on something?

The NBC deal, outdoor game revenue + the revenue from this season in general.

A 3.7M salary cap increase after it was artificially lowered and all the above has taken place? Yeah.. no. The Canadian dollar won't have that large of an impact.

I wonder, why did Chicago aquire Rundblad, if he isn't part of their plans anyway?

he did seem slow a couple times last night, but he was able to get going pretty quickly when he joined the rush a couple times. he looked like he had a perfectly fine game to me. made good passes all night long.

Do you realize the salary cap is primarily based on television contracts, which is the primary source of revenue for sports in North America?

Not even remotely true for the NHL. The NHL is gate driven, not TV driven.
