That's what I was thinking. The more the fan base hates the backup, the better the backup goaltending we get. Everyone please keep up the hate, we need to be able to rest Helly more this season.

Yeah I'm not hating the signing at all. Juat above league minimum for an established backup. I'm fine with that and would rather allocate our cap elsewhere then an expensive backup.

Yeah I know you are always balanced with your opinions. If Rittich gives us somewhere around his career average in the 20 or so games he will get, he will be fine.
