I like it. I wonder if they bring him over for next season or if he goes back to his pro team in Europe.

I know people here are going to be upset for a while but I and a few others have been pumping this kids tires for months. You will all come to love him, he immediately projects as our best dman and he's gonna be a beauty.

It's not a sexy pick at all, but of course when you're in the playoffs, a D-man who can log a ton of minutes is the most important piece aside from goalie.

Question is.... is he worthy to be taken ahead of everyone else...............

I cannot express how much I'm happy we drafted Reinbacher. I REALLY wanted the Habs to pick him.
he was my 2nd pick, but Michkov was there.

still, Yotes 100% wanted Reinbacher, would explain why we didn't trade down.

also, you guys are f***ing brutal in this thread, no wonder why we're despised as a fanbase and nobody wants to play here.

Always so much doom and gloom. We don't know how these players will turn out.

Reinbacher could very well be your Jake Sanderson, future #1 defenseman. When we picked Sanderson 5th, when he was ranked 8th, we got panned too. Now he looks like the 2nd best player in the draft.

I both wanted him and was pretty convinced he was the pick awhile ago.

But I was feeling the Michkov hype.

D is set. I like our forward group quite a bit. Lots of untapped potential.

Wouldn’t be surprised if Reinbacher is with Montreal this season
He’s a big need and a really good player. Now Simashev goes so we know defenders are highly valued.
