Scoring by commitee tho, havnt looked up their team numbers but id be surprised if they had too many PPG players in those seasons. Julien likes to spread minutes around.

I'm pretty sure Marc Savard was the only player to play under Julien and post a PPG or over., which he did 3 times. **** Matt Cooke.

I remember watching him last year and thinking "**** this guy is gonna be good." His play was so mature and confident, you almost assume he's not a young guy just breaking in. Might be why some people are sleeping on him.

When I saw he was likely to play with Bergeron and Marchand this year I made it a priority to get him with one of my mid-round picks in fantasy. Was super confident in that pick and it has paid off nicely

I just cant see how 14 games suggests he will be a career ppg. Hf at its finest. Can I already declare Galchenyuk a career ppg+ player?? I sure would love to^^

He rarely plays the powerplay which would help rack up more pts. Since Marc Savard I do not think bruins have had a top 10 guy. Bergy and Marchand were probably the closest. His career is not based on 14 games either. There is stats in the thread with the information from Braindust.

Sure you can. Doesn't change the fact that Pastrnak is playing at a higher level right now than Galchenyuk probably ever has. He's most likely going to shatter the 20g, 46 points that Galchenyuk has in his 3rd year in the league.

You can very much declare you THINK he will be. And it's not just 14 games, he's shown the talent since he was 18.

I never understood why he went so late, he played with Nylander for a while so you'd think the scouts would be well aware of how good he is. Watching him and Nylander play together was magic.

He's one of my favorite players in the league despite being on the Bruins.

Something I've noticed this year from the few games I've seen is he seems to have gained a mean streak. Is this something he's always had?

I think it's more of a confidence boost with his added core strength, knowing he can out body anyone he wants to now. He got knocked off the puck a lot last year, very very little, if at all, this year. It gives him the confidence to just play by instinct and stop thinking about not losing the puck. Just my opinion.

Ekblad
Nylander
Draisaitl
Reinhart
Ehlers
Larkin
Pastrnak

In that order

Ekblad is a good D for sure... (+ stats are not everything.) And I would put him #1 of course. As for the others, it's not that obvious -yet- where to rank them. But I don't see why Pastrnak would be ranked last in that bunch.

GP: 174 G: 29 PTS: 77

Draisaitl:
GP: 125 G:24 PTS: 68

Reinhart:
GP: 103 G: 25 PTS: 49

Ehlers:
GP: 89 G: 19 PTS: 52

Larkin:
GP:96 G: 28 PTS: 51

Pastrnak:
GP: 111 G: 35 PTS: 67

What has Nylander done to suggest he's that far ahead of Pastrnak?

They played together in Sweden, and general opinion is Nylander was better. Reflected in their draft position, too.

Better question is what has Pastrnak done to suggest he's ahead of ANY of those players on that list of 7. Perhaps wait more than 14 games.

Nobody is basing the possibility of him scoring at a ppg on 14 games. It is based on the continuous progression he has shown since he has been in the league and how much stronger he is now. Maybe he will be a ppg player, maybe he won't but all that was said is that he could be a threat to be a ppg player.

Nothing yet.

But he was picked late in the first round so that was noted in post #1.
