Not sure if this is being discussed but I caught this and this may be something to look at the next couple of days going into Game 2.

David Desharnais just said to RDS that they will target Lundqvist in Game 2

From the post-game interview in the locker room.
Basically said something like "Rangers tried to take our best player out of the game, so we will try to do the same in Game 2"

Anyone confirm this? Heard it was a french interview...How do we handle this situation?

Pretty lame. I hope they don't go this route but if they do the series will get gooned up and stupid real quick.

If pacioretty went into king henrik like Kreider did with Price and got no penalty would no one question whether or not it was intentional? Really??????

Pacioretty did go into Henrik one time. Henrik gave him a blocker to his face for it.

Maybe they should focus on their own game instead. We could've won game 1 with a high school goalie in net.

People have been hacking and running Henrik since the beginning of his career. He can handle it. Funny how quickly the Habs go from playing the "Everyone picks on us" card to trying to be the goons.

If they intentionally run Hank I think that this series will quickly devolve in to goonery. Stupid of him to say, he has just put a target on his back for both officials and the Rangers squad

Desharnais or whatever is a 5-7 midget. He'll run into Hank and up in the third row.

Montreal trying to be tough. That's cute.

Watch the replay your D-Man chopped his leg, knocking him off balance. It was a border line penalty shot, and most definitely a penalty. If you want to blame anyone, blame your own defenseman on that play
