The thought of two games with a back end of Boychuk-Hamilton-Krug-Bartkowski-Miller-Warsofsky is an interesting one. Rask will need to be in top form, especially against St. Louis.

I don't think I have ever seen 4-5 rookie D-man play at one time in a reg season game for ANY team in a NHL game.

Good on the Bruins to be able to do this.

So, Warsofsky's heading to Providence, which is good, especially since the P-Bruins are hurting too. I noticed yesterday that he was listed as skating during practice. I wonder if this assignment means...

I believe its already been mentioned he would go for at least a conditioning stint when healthy, if Chara is close then he will stay.

It means he's probably cleared to play and the team can send him to Providence. I'm not sure it means much for the Big Bruins with regards to Chara since we already have extra D who can play.
