Did you guys see his post game interview?

I just can't get over how great he's become in front of the camera. So incredibly intelligent and insightful... it's honestly amazing. He definitely has a future as a broadcaster or analyst.

He always had the elite hockey mind, now he has the on-air personality and charisma too.

It’s like he’s a cardboard cutout come to life.

And no one told him he came to life.

Firstly, it looks like he's been practicing that line in the mirror ever since Andy Bezeau beat the shit out of him.

Secondly, now we know why he doesn't raise his voice......if he screamed too loud, there's a strong chance his teeth would fly out of their roots. Thanks, Andy Bezeau. And lack of dentists and orthodontists in Bumf***, Alberta.

Bill's comments are kind of annoying actually. He is making excuses for the breakdowns. I like Bill, but I think him being a Lappy fan is affecting his judgement.

I thought the PK looked fine the first two games, but was too passive the last game.
The player with the fewest allowed goals/60 is Lehtera, the most, Laughton.
Which shows you early season stats lie, I thought Laughton looked very good on the PK.

I also think it will be much easier to judge this team (if they have any forwards left) by the end of the month, they now have a 3 week stretch where they'll be home or on short road trips, allowing consistent practices to work out the early season kinks.

I felt like they were more committed to an active PK with the previous games and at times during the last game.

Here are some stills I selected from each PPG against:

Above, 47 sees an eligible shooter. He begins committing to the blocked shot, leaving the forward at center right of the still alone.

47 bailing out here on a low danger shot. Almost have a 4v1 here. The Flyers forwards are not collapsing fast enough and 47 has taken himself out of the play.

Uh oh, the puck got to the uncovered forward. 1-0 Senators

3v1 here. Neither defenseman is marking a pressuring forward. 14 is hooking his mark to cover for 12 and 3, who are out of position. 58 is wide open

3v1 more apparent now. Gotta hope that puck doesn't end up with 58...

uh oh... 3-3

2 forwards are puck watching 1 player at the point. If the puck gets through, there's a 4v2 set up.

The puck got through. Since the goalie's square to 89, the Senator cross ice has a high danger chance if he can get a shot off.

89 slapped a pass to 71 instead, but a juicy rebound ends up with the Senator far cross ice, which he buries. 6-4 Flyers
